I am going to have 180 AFRs ported by phil and hope that they will be able to pull off about 300/210 by .6 lift. I am looking to make 400/400 and ran across a guy on the ls1tech board that said a friend on his did 410/400 rw #s on GTP heads back before the ls1. Said that he used the zz9 cam with lots and lots of tuning. I was looking for something a little better in the cam so I've decided to go with a xe 214/224 on a 114 lsa with the 3100 series lobes so lift would be .565 intake with 1.6 and .567 with 1.5 on the exhaust. Now the question is do you think that the xe cam is better or the zz9? The guy who told me about his friends combo said that they he went with the zz9 bcuz it was more efficient than a cc305. I was thinking that the xe ramps were first off better than the cc series ramps and also that it would be cheaper than the zz9. If I were to get the zz9, it would be on a 114 lsa bcuz the future calls for a 200 shot. Anyways thanks for the help.
