New 224/230 Stock Head, N/A best.. 12.0 @ 112.8

woohoo!

Talk about a great time at the track rental last night. Got 17 passes in and I even shut down for an hour to cool off and rest.

I had a bunch of great runs, started off with some 12.2's, then got her down to 12.1, then hit my magic time below:

60' 1.661 on Nitto's.
1/8 7.693 @ 89.18
1/4 12.067 @ 112.81

Weather was great.. temps were in the low 50's and came down into the 40's later in the evening. Hooking was very very tough with the track being as cold as it was, but every once in a while I could get a dead hook. The above was my best 60' of the night.

Car was the usual weight, 3350 w/o driver... no reduction except for skinnies, no spare/jack, and pulling the back two hatch panels that hold the hatch speakers. All my seats/carpet are in.

Not too bad for a mail order tune (thanks PCMforless) and stock heads and DR's I think

OMG that's flying on stock heads man.

Too bad I won't be able to check out how well mine does, selling the car.

Nice times man, you're making me jealous that I can't get my car running right to take to the track.

I just saw a guy on here whos dyno was 452hp, a lighter car and your car is faster! Then all these guys with ported heads and bigger cams, lighter weight, your blowing them away! Are you splitting atoms under that hood or what? With that weight, that Lt1 has got to be pumping 455hp plus! You are the king!

Uh....that was 452rwhp, and I doubt he trapped lower than a cam-only LT1. Might want to um recalculate and get your numbers right.

I haven't dyno'd yet

I actually plan to in a month or so. I'm debating getting a bigger converter as I also plan to upgrade to ET Streets as my next tire.

I think my current Nitto's are done. The track I ran at is great, but unfortunately their turnoff is pretty rough and has a few rocks that seemed to hurt my hot tires last night (my burnouts were long to compensate for the cold)...

jcolez... as neat as that would be, 450hp is um, well, impossible Before the cam the car dyno'd 272rwhp in very warm, humid weather... soooo, it's tough to say what the car will dyno..
