New guy from Delaware - LT1 in an S10
Hey guys, name is Justin and I am from Middletown, DE. I have a 93s10 with a lt1/t56 swapped into it. I am excited to be here and hope I can meet some new ppl and all. Heres a pic of my truck and the motor.
Now i have just recently had trouble with the truck, took it to the dyno today and it put out 250hp/300tq to the wheels but the air/fuel ratio is not where its supposed to be, it idled at 16.1 and at 4k+ it really leaned out, if i can get a pic up i will of the chart, but I am not sure if the fuel pump is not effecient enough for the lt1 (i have my stock 2.8v6 pump in the tank still) or if injector(s) are bad. If anyone has input please let me know.
And if there are any guys around the DE area that tunes LT1's please let me know, i need to tune this baby, it shoudl be way more than those numbers are putting out.

Welcome to CamaroZ28.com!!
We can probably help with the tuning issues. Best thing you could do would be upgrade the dyno sheet scan to a larger size. What was the A/F ratio when it kicked into PE mode?
Looks like a good topic for LT1 Based Engine Tech forum. I'm going to copy your post there.
Good luck!!

What is your fuel pressure at idle? You also need to check your pressure at wide open throttle under load. Under load(5700rpms wide open) your fuel pressure should be ~43 psi. I checked mine under load by driving with a fuel pressure gauge duct taped to my windshield.
If you're still on the stock cam there is no need for a tune(if the PCM is programmed for the same car the LT1 came out of...).

Great truck. Love the 1st gen s-dimes!!!!
I don't think it's possible you have the stock 2.8 pump. I believe that was a throttle body injection system that ran on very low pressure, something like 14psi. It probably wouldn't even run the engine. Put a gauge on it and let us know what you find.

Well i got to a camera finally, and got a pic of the dyno sheet so you guys can see it more clear. I def. know its not supposed to go up and down like it does on the tq/hp lines, but the air/fuel ratio is outta my knowledge.
And RedLT4, i do have the stock 2.8 fuel pump still in it.
