New LT1 Tool!

Is this tool new and will it make it pulling the motor out faster and easier?

have you by chance considered taking the motor out the bottom. I have done it twice and it is a piece of cake.

out the bottom is so freakin easy. I was intimidated at first, but now I can do one under under 3 or 4 hours. that's without the aid of a lift, and me working solo.

No way in hell I'd trust it being bolted to the top of the intake w/ 500+lbs hovering over my engine bay.
Out the bottom is the only way to go.

Yeah but.......

Don't you have to take the front bumper off or not if you drop it from the bottom.

I have only done out the bottom. And I would think it would be much easier. Beings how you can bolt just about everything up before you put it back into the car.

New? Not hardly. Looks scary, but it works for lot of people.

I would have to take exception to the statement in that link that says
Even with the various strings attached, pulling the engine out the top is still a lot less work than dropping it out the bottom.
.

Whoever wrote that probably has never taken one out the bottom.
