Ok well, today i found a remanufactured ac delco maf took the old one off tried to put the ends that I have ported and they would not work so i kept it with the screen on. Now the question is since I have lt1 edit and tuned it before with ported maf before will it affect my tuning since i have the screen ends back on the reamanufacterd ones.

Now the remanufactured one from the parts store is an ac delco, now the tuning I have is lt1 edit the maf tables have not been touched, just the a/f ratio at wot, now the ends on the new maf have the screen my old ones are ported. I tried to put the old ones on the new one but they wont fit so question is will this effect my horsepower tuning before when I tuned it with the maf ends ported... Again the maf tables were untouched.. Should I report my ends or just leave it...thanks sorry im askink you guys again. but electrical stuff is hard to work with..

Well, you should be fine, but there's 1 LARGE red flag going up, and that is your ends aren't fitting. The MAF you ported was the stocker on your car, correct?

If the ported ends don't fit on this replacement, then it's NOT the correct one for your car. All LT1 cars used the same MAF, thus the ends aer all interchangeable from 94-97. This is the red flag...

I know the ends well i was looking at the maf its the right one.. what i think they do is this ok i have a couple of ls1 ends at my house now since they remanufacture the maf i was comparing it and they look eACTLT LIKE LS1S anyways i have a brand new one coming from jason ill return this one I know it wierd.. the number is correct for a 97 tho... thats why I hate remanufactured ac stuff
