Re: new opti, have spark and fuel
Does anyone know how to fix the seat, my driver side won't move at all, I replaced the fuse that wasn't the problem. I'd like to at least get it to move forward, as of right now I have to wear boots to drive my car jus to push the clutch in far enough.

Probably need to start new threads for new problems.
What is in the instrument panel fuse panel is actually a 30-amp circuit breaker. That circuit powers the power seat and the rear defroster. Does your rear defroster work?
If the rear defroster works, check for 12V at the orange/black wire at the power seat switch assembly. IF no power, check the orange wire in the intermediate harness connector (on floor under seat). Then check for a good ground on the black wire at the power seat switch.

Re: new opti, have spark and fuel
Question, is there any way my timing could have jumped. The people I bought the car from neglected it for 2 yrs, and I got new optispark, new ignitor coil, wires and spark plugs. It has fuel pressure and it still won't start on starter fluid

To your answer, yes it is possible that your timing could have jumped. Highly unlikely, but possible.
Has the car ever ran since you owned it? Sounds like you have a timing issue or low to no compression. Based on having fuel pressure and having spark. I would stop throwing money at it, and do some trouble shooting.
You need fuel, spark, air and compression. All at the right time.
What else has been done to the car? Any mods or is is all stock? How are you checking fuel pressure? With a gauge? Pushing the shrader core? Have you checked all cylinders for spark? Or just #1?

Re: new opti, have spark and fuel
Far as I know it is bone stock, I drove it from August to late november. I checked the fuel pressure with a gauge n got 44 psi, what would I need to do a compression test on all the cylinders. Also I have no idea how the guy who owned the car before me drive it, but by the way he test drove it, seemed a little harsh on the car.
