new rear end cause traction and abs lights to come on?
i recently did a v6 to lt1 swap in my car without swapping rear ends so as we all knew it would tear up, it tore up....so i put a new posi trac rear end (3:23) (stock v8) in it and now every time i hit the breaks my low traction light comes on and then my ABS light comes on......
what is causing this?
please reply with any suggestions..
thanks

It's probably in the rear wheel sensor circuit in the rear end. Scan it to be sure. Usually after break in, metal particles will adhere to the sensor. Take the cover off and see if filings are stuck to the inside of the sensor. If that's not the problem and the sensor is good then the problem is the clearance to the reluctor ring.
