Re: New times on LE2 heads

I am assuming these times are on the motor right?

I am basically running the exact setup, except in a Z. I have an app for a dyno tune this saturday.

Re: New times on LE2 heads

Let's put this in perspective a little better. There are just two NA 350 cars faster and one 355(running F.A.S.T. and ported LT4s) both the 350s are running LT1 aluminums, all three of them lightened at least to some degree. I think by spring only the F.A.S.T. controlled(7600rpms shifts) 11.7 car will be the only one left for him to try to overtake.
Frank sold me the ZZ3 cam in my car now which has been nice but hopefully by spring I will be chasing him on his quest for 11s . Going a little different route but staying NA 350.

Pretty impressive for an Impala. Slap an LE2 cam in there and you'll be in the mid 11s.

Re: New times on LE2 heads

Lets put it this way. the original LE2 cam sent was a smaller duration but a larger lift ans a tighter LSA. Lloyd has reasontly talked to me about a different cam he and Bret want me to try. It arrived today and the specs are impressive. So Bret it will be put in and tried this spring. Hope it gets me into the 11's N/A like we hope. Oh by the way. Dewayne thanks for the info. I didn't know I was that far up the ladder on the Impala ET page. What are your plans for your car?
