subject of brakes comes up and everyones jumping on the brake upgrades ( C4, C4HD, C5, LS1, willwood, AP, ect...)

True. Managing a performance shop I have guys argue with me about stuff all the time. They get all their info off the internet then when I tell them they're wrong because I've actually DONE IT firsthand they think I don't know what I'm talking about. Like the F-body guys that think long tube headers are automatically better than shorties in any setup, despite the fact that I've personally seen cars lose power with longtube headers vs. shorties on the dyno. Or the truck guys that come in and have to have a throttle body spacer on their port fuel injected truck because their buddy got one and "noticed a big difference". Or the kids with Mustangs that come in and want dual 3" exhaust on their stock fox-body because some guy on the internet told them it would make the most power.

Car guys like to have other people think they know it all.
