Heard of them but I dont think they are worth the money, I remember reading a few benefits of them when I was doing my header install, but I just when for some OEM double Platinum Autolites since the few benefits werent worth the money for me.

Anybody else have any experience with them or heard bad things from them? I was going to go with the regular NGK-TR55's, but I saw these and was wondering if they were worth it or not.

I have been running them and they seem to be great plugs. I cant tell a difference between the Iridiums and the normal tr55.

I am running them. I remember hearing they were really good awhile back. When I did the header swap yesterday I went and got some so I could put them in, just to find out that my car already had them in there. THey seem to work real well too.

Re: NGK-TR55-IX Iridium Spark Plug???

They last way longer than any tr55.I can't see why anyone would go thru the trouble to change out plugs on an lt1 and not use them.I plan on using one colder heatrange of them or their denso iridium equivalents in my 96z since putting in a zex wet kit. They work fine with turbos or supers or nitrous.

Use them you will be happy and you don't have to gap them .bonus.

Re: NGK-TR55-IX Iridium Spark Plug???

My Trans Am have installed them, 2 and a half years ago. No HP gains, no better gas mileage, durability..only. ....they produce a better spark, better combustion and claims zero, nada tip carbon built up. Hey, it is a p@in in the @ss replace the spark plugs frequently, isn't it?. The iridium price covers 2 or 3 cupper spark plugs replacements plus the hard work each time.
