I think that torn elbow may be hurting you more than you think, should be quicker than that.

Same here.

Re: Nice near stock LT1 time

I know it has more in it. My tires were just not letting me do it. Its got like the smallest street tires you can fit on a sallad shooter on it.

Once I get my pro stars and E.T. Streets mounted on I figure it will get me to a 13.5-13.4 range on that alone.
It my be my valve springs going bad or something because every LS1 6 speed car I have ran (even 02 SS cars) I beat till about the 1/8, at about 80mph its like the car runs out of steam and they end up going dead low 13's and I get a high 13. Next on the block is a stall and LT's and prob some RR's.
Figure all that on a 150-175 shot will get me high 11's.

I also ran a 13.8@99 with a 2.0 60' to a 13.8@100 with a 2.2 60' and that kinda helps me think something is happening on the top end.

150 shot + boltons should get you mid 11's or lower on a mid 1.5 60'

not many mods compared to what i wish I had.
lolz?

Something might be wrong with the timing equipment at your track.

8.3 means you should be trapping about 85...even higher with your bad 60ft.

Re: Nice near stock LT1 time

The best my Z28 ran PURE stock...nothing removed, nothing added, no mods whatsoever was a 14.085@99.16.

What I did not know at the time was that was with a DA of over 2400'.

Corrects to a 13.70@101.91.

Car ran better than I gave it credit.

i figured 4.10s and et streets would help my car, but that theory got blown out of the water. it didnt pick up anything in the 1/8th. maybe picked up a little in the 1/4 judging by how it feels.

i had a mustang that went 8.40s@80, but i was running 1.7 60' times. but i agree theres no way hes running 8.30s with a 77mph trap speed and a 2 second 60'. maybe 8.80s, and thats a big maybe.

I am not sure if your aware, but you can get very close to 12's with a 100 trap. He was not joking when he was saying that. The 60ft time makes a big difference. If your 2.0 60ft time was down to a 1.75 you'd be lookin at 13.4's already.

I know, just saying it would be funny/cool to run 12's and only trap at 100, you could suprise a lot of people and win some races ig they run say a low 13 and trap at 103-105 and you trap at just 100 :P

Re: Nice near stock LT1 time

I went 13.33 w/ a 2.0 60ft. with cold air, tb bypass, no cat, and a hypertech tune. I did that with full weight and on street tires. I lost LS1's up top too, I think all stock LT1's will, but I did beat quite a few of them anyways.
