Nice near stock LT1 time

Re: Nice near stock LT1 time
didn't see the replies til this past week. I checked into the tracks equipment. The time itself is adjusted to reflect the true(r) time. The mph is not adjusted.
Hope this spreads some light. I'm as confused as the rest of you about the times VS the speed. Incase anyone is interested I have about 30 slips I can scan.

Re: Nice near stock LT1 time
I was just at the track last night.
my 94 Z with an A4 running on GS-D3's and no mods except for the 3" Flowmasters ran 9.11 in the 1/8th. Track was in ok shape, no traction compound was down or anything. Traction was mixed, bad runs hit low 9.2's. Temp was in the mid 70's, about 50% humidity (way down from earlier this week!)
After making 7 runs I pulled the car onto the chassis dyno that was there last night and found the car makes 243 rwhp and 285 rwtq. This car is 99% stock and only has 45,000 easy miles on it. This should give an idea of what a true stock LT1 car does.
I'll get out to the 1/4th mile track sometime later this summer........

Re: Nice near stock LT1 time
thats about what other stock (simular modd'ed LT's are running here) so times are close with adjustment. Theres two "true" 1/8 miles nearby. Gonna try another track. see what transpires.
