No emissions:50/50 street, drag: what cam would you go with

I'm not a serious drag person just maybe on the weekends, but want to run a respectable # in the 1/4 mile, but also have to be streetable.

Would like to stay in the 3:73/4:10 rear end range, love the choppy idle sound, gas is a minor concern.

What cam would you go with

230/236
230/238
233/239
236/242

Lift is a little different, don't want something around .600 range my heads (260) don't flow much past .550

233/239 would be my choice (that is if custom grind is not an option for you).

Off the shelf works out pretty good for a lot of people, but since you have flow numbers for your heads, if you want to get the best performance possible out of your car, then custom grind is the way to go. The person who designed that off-the-shelf cam didn't have your specific combo in my mind when he/she did it. Custom grind is a little more expensive, but it is worth it, IMO.

isn't that alittle small for strip. That looks more like a emissions friendly cam.
