No oil presure

After plug, wires and new opti the car start perfect and runs awesome. One thing, the oil presure gauge isn't working, the motor has presure (If it didn't it wouldn't run very well) and in the 3 years I have had it has had zero oil problems. Does't leak and doesn't burn, could this be just a bad sensor? Wait the only oil problem I had was, before when I got the oil changed at Firestone, it would leak a drop or two, after I changed the oil my self, no suck problems. But I check the oil and she doesn't burn it and doesn't really leak it.

Check the wire to the sending unit that, on a 1993, is located just above the oil filter on the side of the block. You may have done something to the wire when you were doing the plugs and caused it to ground out. That would cause a reading of zero pressure.

If there is nothing apparently wrong with the wire, turn the key ON and pull the wire off the sensor. The gauge should then read high pressure. If it does, replace the sensor. If it does not, the sensor wire is grounded out somewhere that you have not found or the gauge/cluster has a problem.
