It's summer. Here in Phx/metro, the temps are around 100*. On the asphault it's around 150* and these cars are bottom feeders. So hot air + summer fuel mix makes performance weak.

But on a cold start, you should be able to burn the tires for a 50-75 yards easy.

Um, no not really, you can pull the crank in and out quite a ways. I think this is one of them times where I just anwserd my own question.

Your tellin me, if I knew I could do them myself they would of been in there months ago.
Umm, who cares about the burn-out length, quit driving this thing before you have a flat tire from running over the crank.

If you can move the crank by hand the engine is toast, no two ways about it. Frankley I would be surprised it has held together.

burnout

My LT1 caddy will smoke the tires from a dead stop(no powerbraking) for about 100 ft. then grabs when it hits second. But before I put a good tune up in it, it would barely peel wheel!!

That's a sign of crappy traction, not lots of power.

stock tires suck, if you have all seasons and can burn out for 50 yards not a whole lot to be proud off a v6 camry would do it w/ a 6k clutch drop.
