Not To Happy With My Track Times

I run consistent 13.9 @ 102mph with a 0-60 of 2.1. My mods are LT pacesetters,SLP CAI,LT4 KM,airfoil, MT drag radials, and lowering springs 1.7, its a 97z,6M,stock 3.42s. Are my times about right or should i be doing a bit better? i also have new ac delco opti,8mm Taylor wires and coil.

Are you spinning or bogging? How fast are you shifting? Your 60ft should be better. A lot of LT1's are running similar times at my local track with similar combos. You are making decent mph, so you are on the right track.

The headers and drag radials should give you better times than stock but not a hugh advantage. Probably need more practice to get in the mid 13's or a minor tuning issue.

Having a manual on top of the lowering springs might be hurting your launches as well.

Thats all you can do, practice and see what works. Just try to get those sixty footers down.

you might want to look into lca relocation brackets. with the car lowered, the IC is about 15 feet behind the car.

man, i ran the same times, with a worse 60' (2.3), w/o LT's, or RRs, or DRs, and 110k on the clock.

something has to be going on over there

i cut 2.1 60 foots on street tires bro. Lower springs definitely dont help, but drag radials should more than make up for that. Ive also made up a couple tenths just getting better at shifting too.

With it spinning so bad its hard to tell what it really runs. But I imagine if it hooked, say 1.7s or 1.8s, probably be capable of running low 13s, high 12s.
