Doesn't look far off from the norm. Trapping 102 mph shows yu are making decent HP. I was 102-103 with similar mods.

probably got the 60 foot down with a set of slicks and 4.5k clutch drop. I think my car would run twelves if i had a 9" i could hammer on. Stock LT1. Im not about to push my luck with a 10 bolt though.

I have to agree that 60' with the MT tires is definitely part of the problem.

should i launch at around 2,500rpm,i've been launching at around 4,000rpm,but a lot has to do with the track i think, wasnt well prep,i heard a lots of people complaining about it,plus it was 2am the pavement was cold obviosly,i heard cars do much better at day time cause the sun heats up the track, therefore better traction, but again thats what i heard.

Best times my car ran were at 2am with it about 65* out. I pulled a 1.75 60 ft. and didn't spin a lick.

what he said launching is the key. get that 60' down.

side note you need to get a rear end girdle to preload your ring and pinion. dr's and m6 = broken rear end.

Firebird Raceway is ~ 1250' elevation and Speedworld is closer to 1800' elevation. That coupled with 110 - 115* weather will KILL your times - the DA was probably around 5500'. Wait until the winter - the car will run much better.
