Odd missing issue

This issue started about 2 weeks ago. What will happen is, while driving, my car will suddenly feel like it is missing while accelerating. What i mean by that, is that upon load, it will make a really uneven loping and lose a ton of power. What is odd though, is after a minute or two, it goes back to normal and drives fine. It baffles me. Anyone have any idea what it could be?

What year is your car? Does an SES light come on when this is happening? What kind of maintenance/repairs has been to this point?

No SES light, it is a 94. As far as recent maintenance, new plugs this past summer. Beyond that, just the simply changing of the oil regularly.

Start with a fuel filter change. If that doesn't help, get a fuel pressure gage and tape it to the windshield and drive it.
