Could be a number of things man. For starters, your Air/Fuel ratio starts off F-A-T down low. It starts at 11.5. Lean that out down low and it should pick up some overall.

Are you getting any knock retard??? That could have a profound effect on power output. Rockers, poor compression, ect, can all come into play.

My eyes hurt just looking at that. I know this sounds dumb, but check your throttle cable. I remember seeing a dyno that looked just like that a fewyears ago on a 5.9 Dodge Dakoda. Basicly, after about 3/4 throttle it wouldn't go any farther... kinda strange...
thats probably not it. it's just that the power down low seems fine.

Does it feel more powerful? Maybe something was wrong with the dyno.

no knock retard just got off scan tool.it feels fine and runs great just lack of power i mean come on numbers close to stock.286 for torque damn!bryan at pcmforless says with no real exhaust problems and no real intake problems has to be compression are rockers to tight!i had them adjusted with motor off and 1/4 turn past 0 lash some say thats way to much?so should i readjust them to 1/16 past 0 lash.will it really bring me up to where i need to be if that is indeed the problem.im hoping around 340 or better is that possible with a simple adjustment of the valves??man this sucks!!

I just watched that video the other day too. My buddy just hasn't given me the camera so I can get it on to the computer.

If the valve lash is too tight, then the valves are going to "hang" open so to say, and YES, that's definitely going to cause you to be WAY down on power.

A quarter turn past zero should be fine, depending on what lifters you're using. If they're Comp R's, then that may be a bit much.

Re: oh my god!horrible dyno numbers cc306 take a look!!!

Just as a comparison - before my tune I made

313.0 Max Power
356.2 Max Torque

http://home.neo.rr.com/darkhorseracing/dyno.htm

I'm guessing i'm around 330hp now - not sure tho. I'll have it back on the dyno for some more tuning soon enough.

Those are the OE replacements. 1/4 turn should be fine on those.

How does the car run otherwise? Plugs/wires? Fuel filter? Have you logged it?
