torque converter robs you of HP by increasing drivetrain losses. And i wonder if valvefloat is an issue for u.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAH!

(apologies)

you cant compare dyno numbers of a stalled auto with an m6. 30 to 40 rwhp difference is not uncommon.

335 and 5700rpm with a cc306 sounds completely normal. I wouldnt worry about your car.

Thats sounds about right but just how high will the cc306 make power, I was under the impression they peak at 6? But 335HP is nothing to snear at even if it made 340 thats a lot better than before. I'd do somemore tuning tho.

what im trying to is at 5700 where i came off the ground it was still making good power i mean on a steady upward climb so who knows how much it could have made going up to 6300 with out coming off the ground.

You don't need to adjust the rockers with the car running. And you can do it cold as well.

Glad your numbers came back up.

cc306 makes power all the way up to i believe 67-6800 rpm. when you're revving it up in that range is generally when you're going to pull the higher peak hp. and when revving that high, you're going to want Comp R lifters(875-16) to avoid valve float which will lose you more power.

well, they're ok, but i'd step up to the comp R's if i were you. i know there are a few people who run stock lifters, but i think most of them are just temporarily running them until they can afford to get the comp r's.(from what i've read anyway)
i believe the stock lifters are good to maybe 6200rpm. so with the cc306 making power to 6700 or so, it'd be a waste of that cam to only spin it to 6200 and you'd be losing power spinning it above that with stock replacement lifters.

just my 2 cents.

would u want to run the stock bottom end to 6700 ?man i would hate to have to change the lifters out when they were just bought and installed at the end of dec. the guy who did the install works for comp sold them to me i had no idea!is it a must!
