Oil Cooler seal?

I have a leak coming from what seems to be the oil cooler rubber seal. I am going to have the seal replaced soon but I was wondering If I will see Oil pressure gain after this seal is replaced?

Are you sure it's an oil cooler? I thought only manual transmission pre-96 F-Bodies came with the oil cooler option?

Probably not enough to really notice anything on the stk gauge, with a proper o/p gauge you might see a slight increase.

I wouldn't wait too long to get that fixed, that leak could cause a bigger problem if the seal decides to finally let go. Take care of it pronto.

Sorry for the old response...
I still have dial up and its frustrating because its so slow and I have to wait for it to load so I do other things meanwhile and next thing you know i forgot I was using the internet...almost like racing a LIL CIVIC

But yeah..I dont want it to blow out on me all of a sudden so Ill get this changed as soon as the cash flow comes in and ill let you guys know if there is any improvement if any
tHanks!

Re: Oil Cooler seal?

By the way,
What filter would I use if I remove the Oil Cooler?
What are the steps in removing the oil cooler?
Thanks!
