hi guys.....my oil pressure gauge suddenly refuse to work!!!
I started my engine....also before puting key in the ignition I noticed that the gauge is up up 550 pi.... even if I turn it of the gauge still there..... do I need to replace the sensor or what????

 

is you check gauges light on ?

 

no...........

 

replace the sending unit and u should be good the sensor is right behind the intake manifold its hard to get off though i had to buy a 10 buck socket to get it off.

 

what do u mean by "sending unit"

 

its the oil pressure sensor.

It's right here. You can get to it from the side with a special sensor socket with an extension.
