not all of us are idiots. some of the kids that they bring up to the counter from being drivers have no idea what a sparkplug is. they punch in "starter" and get listings. so when you say opti-spark they had no clue what you were talking about because like someone else said it's still a distributor. anyways have a machine shop cut you one to length.

exactly... if i go to a dealer they give a price and i tell them how much cheaper i can get it from gmparts direct and they always have matched it.

Yep, I'm one of 'em been at it for about 2 years learning from a guy whose been in it for about 24 years, and still learning.

Thanks to those who defended us it's tough to know everything about every car, truck, and tractor or four wheeler or whatever the customer may bring you.

But, I'm not defending some of these guys who call themselves "parts guys", I know of several in town who have been at it since I was a kid and they still have no clue.

"Having a 9 second honda is like coming out of the closet. You might surprise people in the beginning, but in the end, you're still gay."
That is really funny!!!!!! I might need to make a T'shirt. Who get's credit for the quote, is it an OutsiderIROC-Z original?
