I love my cutout. It's great to pass by a auto-shop and watch them stop what they're doing and look at you drive by.

Torch red - I have Pacesetter shorties, and they came with no flange on the y pipe

As for the cops, yea i look around a lil more before i get on it than i used to. I hear theres a HUGE fine if you get pulled over without having a cat....We'll see

http://community.webshots.com/photo/...70745468OfqQyc thats a quick mockup of the exhaust before it got put on (yes i know theres no pipes in between lol my basement isnt a shop =P ) anyway this pic was before the electric cutouts arrived and its loud as all hell....and when its closed even the dual dynomax bullets leave a mean roar @ WOT

theres a 4" long bent exit pipe attached to the electric cutout to shoot the exhaust fumes down as the ground on an angle anyway, like i said its a mocked up picture

IMO cutouts sound like a dumptruck at low rpms and idle, WOT is a different story. too bad you cant go wot all the time.

I've never heard of any incidence where a police officer actually looked under anyone's car for cats. I know they're happy to write tickets all day long for loud exhaust though. Last one I got was "operating with a modified exhaust" in the Chevelle I had but the officer never inspected the car.

There is no catback that can beat the sound of a cutout... And on top of that, the sound doesn't come out the back, it comes out the bottom so it rumbles like hell... I have capped my cutout like 4 or 5 times in the past 1 and a half years and never for more than an hour, it just sounds too good at WOT, ppl say it sounds like a straight race car... I think if I got a catback I wouldn't drive hard hahaha.

Cutout ---->
