Thats HUGE!!! Thats some man ****. Definately NOT emissions friendly.

with 1.5's the lift comes out to 587/572
with 1.6's the lift comes out to 626/609

Any reason for the reverse split duration? What kind of heads are you running? Or is it a turbo set up?

IS it custom for your set-up or is it just one of their custom cams?
Sounds kinda like a turbo cam to me.

No kidding captain obvious, but how can you ask us "is this cam good for me?" when you don't tell us what this cam is going to power

That is a big cam for a 350 but in a 383 it is probably possible to tune it to the point where could squeak by the emissions test.

I'm not really familar with the IL emissions standards so I can't give you the best info.

You might try posting in the regional section. I guarantee that someone has used a similar cam and can give you a little help.

Sorry I couldn't be more help.

The cam at .050 duration will only be around 227/240, its a hair smaller than my CC306 but more lift. I dunno if you'd have piston to valve issues. You'd be better off running 1.5 roller rockers.

the cam specs are directly from comp cams so the duration will be 236/248 @ .050 and i am using 1.52 rockers

This doesn't seem like a very emissions friendly cam to me.

Re-read your post

Also you can forget about those springs, or 1.6's for that matter, because you'll be on the edge of coil bind with damn near 590 lift with the 1.52's on a 600 lift spring. Get some better springs.

This doesn't seem like a very emissions friendly cam to me.
lol... by no means "friendly" however OBDII in some states (nv as well) just require a plug into ALDL port and if no codes come up you are gold. No sniffer's on 96+
