I did the same thing when swapping my 89 Celica motor. I just laid the harness out, and let the injector ends fall where they wanted to. Since they've been in the car for a few years, the wires will have a "memory" if you will. It worked for me. Good luck.

Strange, I have a 94 and mine are factory marked. Look close on all sides, you may be suprised

BTW, factory plugs wires were marked too, but the OEM replacements were not

There should be a number on the plug for the 94 and up sequential injection engines. I have never seen one that didn't have the large white number on each connector. Its on the "outside" of the plug, opposite side from where the "PED..." markings are. Are you sure the number you took to be a "9" isn't actually a "6"
