IF an opti is going will it throw a code ? I think mine is going out i bought the car with 90k now it has 129k, i have not changed the opti myself,I dont know if the previous owner did either , has anyone had there opti go out and not throw a code?

ive never had the opti throw a code.
Optical eye failed once
Connector to the opti corroded and failed twice..


I dont even think it has an opti failure code.
