I suggest ALWAYS replacing the entire opti, not just the cap and rotor when you change them.

If you can log it you should be able to see if its the optical portion - In fact it would even show on your tach. I have had it dance like crazy when the pick up portion of the opti went bad. Could be cap/rotor related too - I have not had good luck with them lining up and fitting properly when just replacing a portion of it. Accel cap/rotor on a gm base chewed up the rotor on mine.

I will still tripple check plugs and wires though. Crack in a plug could do it.

i just put new plugs and wires, i drove the car open header to the equast shop and the same day i had the stall put in and that is when it started, the tach just stays at 4100 rpm for like 8secends and if i keep it wot it will get past the stumble and shift. it is weird that it ran great open header and after 60 miles and the new equast and stall that it started the stumble?

The second one has part numbers which is good, but at that price I would beware.

Sounds like you may have fried some wires. Check the wiring harness on the passenger side of the engine bay that runs down along side the shock tower.
