That graph says "doesn't need an LS1 PCM" pretty loudly.

LTCC still requires a functioning optical sensor (the opti still remains). The LSX conversion completely eliminates it.

does the efi 24x conversion come complete for $1600? or you have to piece it together, adding an ls computer you obtain yourself? what about a wiring harness?

Not sure where your going with that? Explain further if you don't mind.

You can go on thier website and get a quote for what you will need. Like if you have the coils and pcm you can buy the 24X wheel and opti cover, and harness. Or build your own harnes etc... They are realy good about answering emails and giving you all the info you will need.

$3000? The 24x conversion does not even exceed $2000 if using cable throttle and a GM timing cover. Not sure where the extra $1000 came in there.

$850 for harness and another $100 something for the ls1 computer.

then add in 3rd party tuning software on top of it all, making it worthwhile to do it...

Only part I got off them was whats in the pics. I made my own harness. Got my own coils and pcm. If you don't have spare harness laying around their little wiring kit is a pretty good deal.

Ok Im sorry if I missed this in the thread, but did you just "re-pin" the original harness to the LS1 PCM connectors? I assume the only things you really had to change were the Opti wires and the CPS? I am curious because I have a 96' LT1 swapped into my C10 and it would be fairly easy for me to just change to LS1 connectors and swap to the 24X system. I suppose you also have the harness for the coil packs, but whatelse did you have to mod from the factory harness?? Sorry for all the questions, I am fairly new to all this....

We hard wired in the coils in. Had to run a few extra wires in the harness for cam and crank sensor but other than that it's just swapping out pins and putting them in the right place. Nothing major is you have the pin diagram laying right in front of you.

Went to Clay City yesterday. Got my Moser 12 bolt w/4.10's swaped out from the 91. All runs were on 17" Nitto 555R's and 93 octane.

Best pass of the day with 3000 DA was

1.633
7.36
94.29 mph
11.497
118.448

All other passes were within a tenth of that as long as I didn't spin.

Does the $1600.00 price include the throttle body? Will it need a MAF sensor? Is that included?, and a new air lid with filter, is that included?
It does sound good but all these additional pieces---. the '93 does not have a crank shaft key on the ballancer hub, not sure about the crank gear though.

Ah man a 93 is the worst one to do the swap on. You have to swap all the wire ends for the new style pins.
