Your existing throttle body will work just fine.

Will it need a MAF sensor?
Only if you want to use a MAF sensor. The LS1 PCM can run in speed density mode. MAF sensor is not included and not required.

a new air lid with filter, is that included?
No, you don't need a new air intake to use the LS1 PCM.

It does sound good but all these additional pieces---
These additional prices you're referring to are unrelated/unnecessary to swapping to the LS1 PCM.

the '93 does not have a crank shaft key on the ballancer hub, not sure about the crank gear though.
There is a key to hold the crank timing sprocket. You simply have to install a 96-97 crank key to hold the reluctor in place.

Re: Opti delete

Does the stock LT1 MAF sensor work with the 24x EFI_connection system?

Re: Opti delete

I'm pretty sure that the LT1 and LS1 MAF sensors were similar, to the extent that GM now has a single, less expensive part # that is a replacement for both the LT1 and LS1.

Re: Opti delete

I haven't messed with it and don't know if I will ever be able to do so unless I do another swap.
