opti harness question

hey guys, im gettin my car back together and the new opti harness i purchased fits into the optispark just fine. however, it is too large for the wiring harness side. the part # of the one i ordered is 12130319 did i order a non-vented opti harness or something? this is pretty much stopping me getting my heads/cam/headers setup finished. someone shed some light on what i might have done wrong?

AFAIK, there is no difference in the harness end plug from the non-vented to vented

are you sure you are hooking to the right plug?

Most people find that they have to nibble out part of the connector to make the new one fit. Take a close look at it and you should see what is holding it up. You can do that or swap the connector shell from your old one.
