Lightbulb Opti/Trouble Code Questions

Ok here's the deal. I was throwing TC's 16, 36, 41, and 42. I just took a DVOM and ran some tests. I tested the voltage coming from the PCM headed towards the LOW RES SIGNAL at the Dist. and got a reading of 5.01V. I also got the same reading for the HIGH RES SIGNAL. I know both those are the exact voltage they should be. My problem is intermentant, and appears to be heat related electrical component failure. So, this leaves me with a 99.9% certainty that the electronics in my dist. have taken a dump. I also tested the ICM, and found no problems, it appears those codes (41,42) only tripped once, and never again. What I need to know is if I can buy just the Electrical sensor/component that is in the Opti, instead of replacing the whole dist.? I rebuilt the Dist. about 1/2-1 year ago. I am tempted to tear apart the car and look at the opti right now, but would rather wait until I have new components to put in. Any help or idea's would be appreciated...Thanks,
