OTVC really necessary on Mac mids?

I am going to be ordering the MAC mids very soon. Is Thunder racings OTVC kit really necessary for these or just for LT's. Also, if they are necessary should i go with top or side mount? thanks

No, its not necessary. I've drive my car daily, have had my wires routed in the stock location, no problems and about have gone 10,000 miles so far.

Not necessary but worth it IMO. Looks alot cleaner and you have zero chance of burning up any wires.

I ziptied one just to keep it clear of a primary...

I thought about getting the OTVC kit but I'm poor and on a budget... the Accel wires were cheaper and "heat resistant" Next plug and wire change I may switch to the OTVC kit, but as for now I'm satisfied with what I have.

The OVC kit is awesome.... best thing that i did.... i made the mistake of changing the wires with the maifolds in and once i put on the headers, i had a burnt wire right away... do the OVC kit, i mean, its only about $30 more than a normal set of wires...so worth it
