Project is an LT4 conversion. It took me about six hours and I did it alone.

I would really like to see you use nailed 2x4's(like so..... http://www.ace1252.com/images/DSCN1126.JPG )rather than cinder blocks....they have a tendency to crumble very quickly without warning. I don't want to see you hurt.

Otherwise, nice work on getting it out. I'll be doing that in a week or two for my CC503 swap.

Love the anniversary SS look.

You're going for an lt4 clone look aren't you?

What did you hook the engine hoist to? I need to do that to drop my transmission out.

Also, are those the Berger Stripes from 3rdGenDecal?

+1 on the cinder blocks, especially on their sides, strength is poor and the small contact points from the jackstand concentrate the weight. If nothing else, turn them upright to normal orientation, and put a 2x4 between the jackstand feet and block. Be safe brother.......

Thats how I did it. I had my motor out (by myself) and on the stand in 4.5 hours. DONT USE CONCRETE BLOCKS FOR THIS.
