overheating i think!!!!

when ever i drive my car it seems that as long as i'm not on the throttle, the temp gauge goes up to the red. Sometimes all the way sometimes just before the red. so i hooked my fans up to come on all the time when i'm driving and the car still does the same. if i'm at the light and my foot is not on the throttle, the cars temp goes up. But when i'm driving the temp sits at 200 or below. oh my low coolant light is on and i fill it up with water and after one day it's empty. no leaks that i know of, i just sometimes see it come out of overflow boiling but that's when i let the car just sit still.i just replace the thermostat any help would be nice.like i said driving the car it stays cool but when i stop the temp starts to climb.any help would be great!!!!!!!

Re: overheating i think!!!!

If you're running just water and not a coolant/water mix, you're going to cause the water to boil when the car's not moving.

Re: overheating i think!!!!

i kinda bleeded it but right when i opened the bleeder the water was already coming out. oh i can't put just water. don't want to spend money on fluid to just put all over the ground.but i guess if i want to stop the boiling i'm gonna have to test it.
