96trans am, how soon do you think your car will hit the road? I thought the beehives came with all LE heads. Now I can't wait for your car to be back up . I'll make sure to post my results, but it may be a while.

Quickshotkimber, thanks for those numbers.

ABA383, I noticed in searching posts that you had a similar cam. It obviously must be stout enough if you're placing it into a 383 and not going into the 230+ range. I'm thinking that since I have these sucky Cali emissions here and this cam won't likely pass, maybe going with a 383 come smog time in 2 years will help eat up the size of this cam.

Overall, from the above users it appears that I will be just fine using stock ported heads by either of the 2 porter I mentioned. Right now, afr's would not be reasonable enough. You guys are already hitting 11's without crazy heads which says a lot.
