Parts list for the 306
What are some reccomended parts I would absolutly need to run a cc306 on an A4 with 3.42 gear and 2800 stall with pacesetter LT's??? I know springs for sure, but what else and what are the part numbers?

Re: Parts list for the 306
Well i ran my 306 with stock rockers, lifters, and pushrods for a good while... but if you wanna run upper RPMs like the 306 wants, then it would be a good idea to get some new rockers, chromoly p-rods, and maybe comp-r lifters (i would go new lifters if your's are old anyway).
You also definately need computer tuning and a shift kit. 02 extention for the longtubes if you dont already have them. Dont forget about gaskets...
Call up combination motorsports if you have any other questions... they will hook you up (and the EX612 springs are good springs for the money)
For pushrods i recomend trick flow chromoly because they are about $50 cheaper than Comp or Crane. Make sure to get 7.2"
I know im prolly hitting stuff you already know... but it was a rather general question.
Hope that helps.

Oh yea, blue threadlock and felpro gaskets for the headers. The pacesetter paper gaskets suck. They give you 1" header bolts and mine have worked fine.
Dont forget the case of beer... it is required for any header or cam swap... REQUIRED!

You may not need 7.2" pushrods.. it depends what rocker ratio you use too. For a cc306 I'd be replacing everything as none of the stock parts are up to the job for long.
