Unhappy Pedal to the Metal

After my cam install I have to push my gas pedal to the floor while cranking it over in order for it to start. Any ideas why? I have larger injectors I could put in. I also have not sent the PCM out for a tune but would either of those things cause the car to not start? After I get it started it doesn't want to rev up.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Car and motor only has 30k on the clock.

Re: Pedal to the Metal

Get it programmed. That should fix it.
Also make sure your valve lash is set correctly.

Re: Pedal to the Metal

Putting the pedal to the floor while cranking it puts it in "clear flood mode".... actually reduces the amount of fuel that is injected for startup.
