Mike,
Yep, that is my intake. It's supposed to be installed on the car by the end of next week so hopefully it isn't still sitting there. We ran into some issues with fitment. BRE (who made the intake) felt comfortable only running the outside 8 bolts since you can't redrill the intake for the LTx bolt pattern due to runner placement. I didn't really feel comfortable with how it would seal so we ended up modifying the heads to accept the SBC bolt pattern. I can't wait to see the dyno numbers when its finished!

Mildly considering this swap as well to mount to the 355 when it comes in. Regardless of fitment how did everyone decide on their respective manifold? super vic, etc - pros and cons? hp gains?
how is the service at intakeeblows.com? i just sent them an email this afternoon to see who they can help me with some stuff.
thanks guys

Well thanks for your contribution. BRE seems to think it will be OK but I never liked the idea. The real question is what kind of numbers will it make. I've never seen any back to back testing on an LT1 with a single plane so I'm looking forward to the results.

I was asking about the EFI intake....but i think i might hold off for a bit.....
The 355 T-Trim set will be over 700rwhp the next time i go to the dyno and over 600rwtq as well, After i fig out some of the tuning with the Gen 7...
I didn't think the car would make this kinda power....

My similar combo only made 550 rwhp through a TH350/loose converter.
383 cid, 8.3/1
AFR 210 Race Readies
224/236-114 cam
Vortech T-trim 6.66/2.75 for 13 psi
Vortech Aftercooler
Though, it did run 10.40 at 133 at full street weight plus some.
