pinion sela nd trans tailshaft seal
well my pinion seal and tailshaft seal have been leaking for a while and this coming spring i plan to fix themm...sealr wants like 150 fro pinion and 130 for tailshaft hahaha no...
so how hard is it to change the pinion seal.....any pointers....
i do know u have to mark the position of the shaft to the differential
it would be a good idea to change the gear oil to eh?
the tailshaft seal doesnt seem to hard....i should change the tranny fluidd while im at it eh?
(no im not canadian lol)

remove the driveshaft. mark the location of the nut in orientation of the flange. count the number of exposed threds and remove the nut (should be 1 1/4" nut) gentaly pull or tap the companion flange off. remove the old seal. gease the new seal and install it. replace the companion flange. put the nut back on just a tint bit past the mark wih the same number of threads exposed.
tailshaft seal is een easier. just remove the DS and replace the seal
