PISSED OFF!! 5th set of burnt plug wires!!
#16
when I asked about misfires most people indicated it wasn't really an issue anymore due to better wire design/shielding. Think of it this way, if they could crossfire that easily, the factory wires would be completely hosed, and they are running up against the block too!

Taking your time to run and place the wires is key. Make sure to keep the wires off the headers. Definitely! use the Taylor Firesleeve, well spent $50 instead of 5 burnt wire sets plus installation. Get some wire separators and try running the wires behind the motor mount. Doing this with my LT and 8.5mm, I haven't burn a wire for almost a year.

You guys that are routing the wires behind the motor mount, are you using the stock length wires? I did OVC and I don't like them. They're ugly. So, I'm going to go back to a stock location, or like stock location. I also need new wires. Where can you buy the Accel 9000 wires? Thanks.

The wire I keep burning is the #6 cyl. I'm going to take one of the longer plug wires from the old set and try to run them up and over the primaries. O and I use the Taylor heat sleeves on all my wires. # 6 is burning under the sleeves??? anyway I was really pissed off when I wrote this, and now I've calmed down a bit. Thanks for everyone's reply.
