Placing Intake Manifold back

I have a question before I go and put the intake manifold back on. Just got it off tonight. I got the permatex "right stuff" for the gasket in the front and back of the Manifold. I also bought the Fel-pro 1284 gaskets, the ones a little better than stock. They came with some black rtv. Should I use this rtv on the gaskets or something else? and where should I put it? Both sides of gaskets just around intake ports? is that good enough or use more? I will also need to get a throttle body gasket, stock one for GM dealer? or is there a better one? what size tube to connect the hoses for the throttle body bypass if anyone knows? I have a temporary piece of pipe connecting them now, but need something that will be permanent. Thanks for any input.

Best stuff for the gasket is the GM grey sealant.. Forget the exact name but the dealer sells the stuff.

Either one of those sealants u have is fine though. I ended up using felpro gaskets and only put red RTV infront and back of the intake manifold. any tb gasket is fine.

go to discount auto. they have a TB bypass on the shelf for 5 bucks or something

yea i have some of that grey stuff.u can get it at the dealer, its good stuff when i took off my timing cover i ripped the right corner and i just sealed it with that.but for the intake man repair i just used some black rtv,i heard its better than the red to keep oil in.

I used ultra copper after messing around with an intake leak last spring. No problems since.

Thanks for the input. Which auto stores have the TB bypass? I will check out the local store. I guess there are more than just our cars that have this throttle body coolant passing through it that are the same size?

You need a 3/8" barbed hose connector for the 93/94 TB bypass.
