plug gap?

what should the plug gap be on a 93 Z28 I dont know if the type matters but they are NGK TR55 and also what is better the copper ones or platinum?

Gap should be .050" As for platinum or copper, the platinums will last longer but are more expensive. The coppers are cheaper but will require quicker maintenance intervals.

book says .050.
i have .043 in mine
but in your case i would go .045
