Plug wire ideas Please.

Tell me what wires you guys are running, mine are original & have 157K on them, i'm installing some headers, so now i guess would be a good time to replace them sence there stareing me in the face

I either want an 8 or 8.5 MM with good heat boot, but don't really want to exceed 90.00-100.00 if possible

I have Taylor 8mm wires, have had them for 3 plus years, never a problem, never a misfire. Good quality for a good price.

I'm thinking of some MSDs 8.5 MM, will 90 deg. boots work with the PS LT headers??

If you have LTs then OTVC wires is the way to go. It will definitely cost you more than $100, but it'll be worth it in the long run because you avoid burned wires. I've posted pics of mine (MSDs) in a few threads on here, do a search and you should find them. I'm very happy with mine.

I had the Taylor 8.2 wires on my Z28 that had LT headers. I zip tied them away from the headers and never had a problem.

OTVC is the best way to go, but will cost twice as much.

By the way I have some brand new wires I never used. I ordered red ones by accident when I wanted black, never got around to sending them back. I would sell them for $50 shipped to you.

This is the set on summit

I would get either the Taylor or MSD universal wires and the over-the-valve cover wire loom kit.

MSD'S here, when I had the Taylors the clips kept coming off when it was time to change plugs. Never had a problem with the MSD wires.

I've put Accel 9000s on 2 LT1s, 1 with headers, 1 stock. No problems.

Look what i found, i went & purchased a set, i'll just have to keep them off the headers being in the stock location, for this price, i don't think they can be beat for that price & being a 10.2 MM with a Kevlar inner lineing , just wanted to pass this along for you LT-1 guys, they also have them for the LS-1s for the same price.

I thought about buying these wires. I hope they are extra long for the passenger side cause 10.4 is rather BIG compared to the stock or 8.5 so stock routing behind the acc. like stock would be nearly impossible, they would need to go over the valve cover. please do post up a few pix of the way they fit.
