Plug Wires?

I need to upgrade my plugs and wires, I have NGK TR-55's already ordered. I was wondering if I need a OVC setup w/longtubes or if I bough others could I route them someway to keep them from burning? I have read about alot of people having problems with the OVC setup.

I dont really like the look of the OVC setup but If i have to go that way I will.

What brands of Wires would you suggest if I dont need the OVC...

Thanks

MSD 8.5mm Super Conductors. You can run the many ways without going OVC. In my opinion that looks like total garbage in an engine bay, and I care very little about the way things look.

You can keep your stock routing, but you will have to go through some extra measures to prevent the wires from touching and burning on the header primaries. You will have to secure the wires safely away from the header with cable ties. As for the actual wires, I would give another vote for the MSDs or the Taylors.

I had mt TR55's and MSD S/C 8.5's installed. I would have went with the OVC route if I had headers. I'm still using my manifolds, and I knew if I went with OVC's I'de burn them up. The MSD plug wires are quite large. The right side is the worst to route. There's practically no clearance on that side. It's totally up to you.
