I just did mine 2 days ago, I didn't have much of a problem getting the 2 long bolts in, I just unmounted the k member motor mount bolts slid the long bolts in and mounted the k member mounter mount back on. The biggest pain was the poly in the long bolt hole, I ended up hammering the bolt through with poly falling out the other side.

Re: Poly motor mount issues!!!

Thanks for the reply's! I have done everything described here except trying to drive something in from the rear and then drive the main bolt back thru! Yes I am talking about the main bolts. I had to remove pass side bracket from block put bolt thru and then lower until I could maniplute the bracket to get the bolts in. I hate to try to do that with drivers side but if I have to so be it. Gonna try to drive something, another old motor mount bolt that I aint worried about threads, in from rear of mount to see if I can get it to go and then drive bolt back thru from front. It is so close but not enough to start the bolt in now. Will update later on gotta go to work soon and need a break any ways lol!

When all else fails...beat it!

That's right beat it! I hooked the lift up again took tension off and got holes as close as possible. Took an old motor mount bolt from a 95 Impala SS i had in my bin and beat it through the back side, then took motor mount bolt and punched it thru following the other bolt and wholla...IN and torqued down! Pain in the *** but I think will be well worth is. Iv'e always like poly bushings any ways and stockers were crushed and worn bad. Next is trans mount as it is completely broken metal/bolt piece from the rubber pad. Now I can get on with putting her back together again! Thanks once again guys!
