At the time I have a 1996 Camaro Z28, it ran a 14.124 with a 2.3 60 ft, bone stock. Its a A4 with the 3.23 gears. It does have t-tops, but I really wish I would have waited to have found a M6/t-top. I got a great deal on this car, 3800 dollars for 84k miles in great condition (minus front bumper). I recently installed a loudmouth and FIPK, and have considered some more modding. I want to have a weekend car that runs 12's, but is completely street friendly. I have been considering looking at LS1 WS6's, but I really am not attracted to the LS1, my friend has one, and well it burns oil bad, piston slap... my car doesnt burn oil.. etc.. What can I do to make my LT1 run into the 12's, emission capable? I have considered some cam only ideas, but the hotcam seems too little and sometimes doesn't hit 12's, I have considered the 224/230 cam kit, the 227/233 cam kit from combination motorsports(not sure if the 111 lsa on that would pass emissions) with the combination of mac midlengths with a dual-cat y-pipe and the loudmouth. I am not sure as to what torque converter would be streetable, and it seems a 3000 stall would be right. Help me out guys!
