Power Windows

today i was racing, and wooped a ricer, wanted to wave him that he had lost, and when i was putting the window down it was making a weird sound like a hissing or weening sound or something, i thought it might have been because i was going 100+ and later when i was stop and go, it continued to make the same sounds... does anyone know what this could be cause by and what might fix it?

Don't lie, you were gonna flick him off.

When my window motor was dying, it didn't make any sounds. It just started to not go up all the way and die near the top.

If you do end up getting a new window motor, I liked the Autozone window motor. $50 and has a lifetime warrenty.

When mine went out the rails for the motor were kinda worn, almost metal to metal. You can also check the window guide at the top of the door. Roll the window all the way down and look in from the top. There should be 2 felt guides, one toward the rear and one towards the front. Those break off sometimes or just plain wear out. When that does the window glass rubbs against it and it squeeks.

good luck
