Problem with Ign. Module

A friend of mine has a 96 Formula and just had the motor rebuilt. Ever since then he has been having trouble with the ign. module. The car died, and the problem was traced back the the ign. module, it was replaced and the car ran great. Then the car died again, same process repeated. He has been through this about 4 or 5 times and the shop can't seem to figure it out. Anyone have any ideas?

Re: Problem with Ign. Module

Have they been using the heat conductive paste between the ICModule and the hear sink? Have they tried spacing the plate away from the head?
