Proform rockers suck!!

Anyone ever used these things? I just got some in the mail new and they are trash. I can feel the play in the tip just by wiggling them. its almost like theres no bearings in them. I should have kept my 1.6 nsa.Anyone else see this problem?

Re: Proform rockers suck!!

I have 42K on mine 28K of that with a ZZ3 cam and appropriate springs, no issues to date and on one of the b-body forums thewre was just today a post about how they are tighter and quieter than the ProMagnums.
I have known people who trashed GMPP rockers in 20K with more aggressive hydraulic roller cams.

Re: Proform rockers suck!!

I have heard multiple stories of people having problems with the Proform RR's. I have a friend that bought a car w/ these proforms on it. I have a pic somewhere of how they break. They are a poor product.

Re: Proform rockers suck!!

They seem to have as much play as any other rocker I've had.

I like them for the price.

Yea i mean i guess they are supposed to be this way but when compared to any other roller rocker they are loose as hell. anyone know if these things even have bearings in the tip?

Re: Proform rockers suck!!

Proforms are good rockers on a stockish car... but on a cc306 id get crans or promags... you get what you pay for.

Ya, they probably trashed those rocker arms due to improper installation or the wrong valve springs.
